The Russian troops in Ukraine are merely "volunteers" who elected to assist Russian-speaking rebels demonstrate their discontent with the government in Kiev. Ten Russian paratroopers captured in Ukraine were there by "accident" – they got lost during a routine border patrol and somehow ended up in the wrong country. Russians seeking information on images of sons captured in Ukraine are told they've been photoshopped. Russian casualties are buried in clandestine funerals ignored by state media while independent reporters are chased away."
