"PARIS — Three French jihadists, suspected of fighting for Islamic State in Syria, are repatriated by Turkish authorities to France, where their lawyers say they want to talk to government officials.
First they're put on the wrong plane. Then, arriving in France, they pass immigration without being stopped. Finally, they go to the local police station, which is closed, then wait 20 minutes for an officer to escort them to another police station so they can turn themselves in, according to French press reports. "

"Even after President Barack Obama launched an extraordinary verbal attack on Russia at the U.N. General Assembly on Wednesday, Moscow voted for a U.S.-proposed Security Council resolution to fight terrorism that was adopted this afternoon.
At the opening of the General Assembly annual debate, where heads of state and foreign ministers come to Manhattan's Turtle Bay to showcase their national policies, Obama launched perhaps the most blatant attacks on Russia by an American president since the end of the Cold War."

They tell me the real underlying issue is about not allowing those in the country that want to live under Sharia law. The fear is a lack of assimilation from the community.
This is not an irrational fear but a very real and present danger that is happening in some European countries because of the gradual influx of those that practice Islam. We are seeing the rise and demand that Sharia Law be the acceptable form of governance to those that practice it, regardless of the laws and constitution of the host country."

Foreign and local media executives expressed frustration at what seems to be a direct attack on press freedom.
The Financial Times quoted a foreign executive who was heard saying:
"In fact, this writes Russian raider attacks into law – it will mean a raft of forced sales. Kremlin conservatives are using anti-foreign sentiment created by Moscow's stand-off with the west over Ukraine to consolidate the grip of select companions of Mr Putin on the media industry."
