You might dismiss the likes of Santelli, saying that they're basically in the entertainment business. But many investors didn't get that memo. I've had professional investors tell me that the quiescence of inflation surprised them, because "all the experts" predicted that it would surge."

New wearable robotic exoskeleton gives you superhuman powers (Science Alert)
"You actually don't really notice that it's helping you. But as soon as you turn the system off, it makes you instantly feel that your legs are heavy, which shows that your legs have adapted," engineer Conor Walsh, head of Harvard's Biodesign Lab, told Jessica Leber at FastCompany.
Not only could this suit be used to enhance the movements of soldiers and firefighters, making them faster, more agile, and better able to transport heavy equipment, but it could also be worn by stroke victims to make the slow and painful recovery process easier, and the elderly, to protect them from life-threatening falls and injuries. But don't worry about your grandma looking like a cyborg - the exoskeleton has been designed to be so lightweight and flexible, it can be worn under clothing. "

(Reuters) - A security bloc led by China and Russia took a swipe at the United States on Friday, saying the development of unilateral missile defense systems would undermine global security.
The Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO), which also includes four Central Asian states, did not name the United States in a statement issued at a summit in the Tajik capital, Dushanbe.
But Russia in particular has long been critical of Washington over its plans to build a global missile defense shield and Moscow sees the system as a security threat.
"The unilateral and unlimited capacity of individual states' or groups of states' missile defense systems will be detrimental to international security and strategic stability," the statement said.

"A paper released by the Foreign Correspondent's Club in China shows that conditions for reporters in the country have gone from bad to worse. In addition to pressuring journalists directly, "authorities have also taken aim at Chinese citizens working for foreign news bureaus," reports the New York Times.
"Half of all respondents who employ Chinese news assistants said they had been threatened or harassed by the authorities. In some instances, national security agents have pressed interns working at American news outlets to act as spies, and when they refused, pressured them into quitting."
