If I Were the Devil by PAUL HARVEY

The idea that certain disappointing trends apparent in the 1960's could be extrapolated forward is very interesting. A lot of bad stuff, however, has been left out because the trend was not even apparent. The world leadership and mores have been thoroughly tested and in every direction found wanting. Nevertheless, we did not see yet the return of Fascism as acceptable politics for the most part and loads of moral issues were mostly cleared up.

All in all, I think the devil would be extremely disappointed with progress to the dark side.

He shouldn't worry! Germany, France, and China will steal the markets for wind, nuclear fusion / fission, and solar. UK may be capable, but not with the current Conservative snail energy!

If I remember correctly, Christians brokering peace between warring Muslims over a thousand years ago led to massive war involvement. It's not like any side gives up on the idea of a Holy War unending?
