Barack Obama says U.S. today 'is the most respected country on Earth' | PolitiFact
expressed pride in how the global image of the United States has improved on his watch during a White House event with fellows of the Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative.
"People don't remember -- when I came into office, the United States in world opinion ranked below China and just barely above Russia," Obama said. "And today, once again, the United States is the most respected country on Earth."
