Other major solar flares head toward Earth as solar winds weaken earth's protective shield against far more dangerous rays from our universe

I hope you were careful on Thursday..and will be all this coming week. We may have temporary ozone holes/gaps as occurred in Vermont some time ago in a previous sun spot radiation cycle that was carefully researched to have caused skin cancers.

Not sure whether it's the the sun's rays or the cosmic rays which are most dangerous. It's the cosmic rays that figure in the dancing lights in Norway and Northern Ontario.

Canadians were first to study effects using Geiger counters mounted on planes flying in the arctic circle where the ozone is weakest during strong solar winds.

Communications entities focus on loss of GPS signals, but that is the least of our worries.

Pilots are becoming an endangered species because of all the sources of radiation around and against them!

Smart meter electromagnetic field exposure concerns raised ... But what is smartest, most economic, and helps ordinary people in communities.

Smart meters apparently save money through being smart, labour saving, accurate, timely, and automatic.

Would similar or even greater savings not occur were the meters not rigged by a wire to work through the wired Internets or existing telephone of the homeowners/power companies. Who gets wireless service for free?

Why really is wireless better when wired fibre or telephone would do the job better for all and any household?

Who is being cheated out of a proper fibre service and connection to a proper fibre network?

Perhaps, two types of smart meter are needed with one type wired, and the other wireless, so that households could choose. At present only wireless smart meters are offered, but why? Why can't wired systems be smart?

Which is more costly a piece of wire or an advanced technology microwave receiver/transmitter.

It would seem that a further savings of several hundred dollars per unit could be achieved by being wired in and not having the receiver/transmitter etc at all.

Whose is being smart, really? Can't existing meters be adapted by a few circuits and wires to smarten and safety them up at the same time.

Who is carrying the extra cost / burdens of the unnecessary and unsafe wireless technology? Who are the gainers and losers, people in vulnerable small communities or shareholders and people in big smart ass companies? What types of so called progress are not really progress at all when long term health and pollution costs are added in and properly accounted for.

Better we dump unsafe wireless for good and develop wired fibre services to every household like we did electricity, telephone, etc.

Give real power back to the households.

Sketches from scratches is a provocative blogspot that has grown out of the Wuh Lax experience. It is eclectic, which means that it might consider just about anything from the simple to the extremely difficult. A scratch can be something that is troubling me or a short line on paper. From a scratch comes a verbal sketch or image sketch of the issue or subject. Other sites have other stuff that should really be of interest to the broad reader. I try to develop themes, but variety often comes before depth. ... more!
