Interesting! Maybe the iOS 7 changes will also garner gains.

Russia and America face off in Syria because Russia and Putin want it that way. Obama would rather run away but Clinton gives him back bone in a difficult decision. He knows it's a black hole and will lead to another world recession... Neither country can afford conflict and Syria will not pay Russia's account, the full cost, so waste is the order of the day?

Helps Russia's balance of weapons payments. When Syria uses its defensive arsenal, Russia can deepen the debt of that country!

Both Russia and America claim high moral ground.  China and Saudi Arabia are pushed to sidelines.....

Russia's involvement in the Middle East has been extraordinarily reactionary to say the least?  While warning that Syria could become a bloodbath, Russia is ensuring just that very outcome in a cynical approach to balance of power politics.

What does reactionary mean in this context? Think!

Solar flare activity has an audience of its own! Combined with cosmic rays solar wind activity creates a dangerous mix of silent undetected radiation.

The current solar cycle was late and it did not have the volume of earlier cycles. People, however, are interested in the implications of solar flare bursts, particularly wen they are suddenly large and knock out communications on earth.

Should you be sunbathing when the spit from the sun hits earth, you may be in for a shock years later. Yes! The sun emits flares spurting forth dangerous X-rays that can harm cells and cause cancer! Will the earth's protective shield be enough?

Unfortunately, as the solar wind hits earth it thins out the normal protection from high energy cosmic ray particles hitting earth all the time. In ozone depleted regions the danger is worse.

Possibly, DNA of life was altered by solar and cosmic ray activity.

Sketches from scratches is a provocative blogspot that has grown out of the Wuh Lax experience. It is eclectic, which means that it might consider just about anything from the simple to the extremely difficult. A scratch can be something that is troubling me or a short line on paper. From a scratch comes a verbal sketch or image sketch of the issue or subject. Other sites have other stuff that should really be of interest to the broad reader. I try to develop themes, but variety often comes before depth. ... more!
