Swastika on ancient Pitcarie Farm Stone

So, what did I find near Aberdeen in Scotland? You form your own opinion, but was does an ancient religious symbol from India have anything to do with Scotland? Waddell, an archaeologist of renown in the late 1800's and early 1900s claimed that it established a link in his mind, ar least, between people's of Hittite or mountain origin with people settling in Scotland many thousands of years ago!

No one really knows whether to give credence to Waddell's idea and it has become out of fashion because the Nazi's used the notion to fashion their silly beliefs in racial superiority as was fashionable over 150 years ago.

We all know racism is just plain stupid and theories supporting it are nonsensical! There is no superiority of any particular race or people. Nature has established the importance of mixing races to produce healthier people. It's a no brainer that the symbolism of the Nazi regime was a monstrous development and blemish on logical thought.

Whether there is a link between early people's near south eastern Turkey and Scotland is a fascinating question? We only know that the most hated symbol of the modern world was once a symbol of respect many thousands of years before!

Why breat implants are not such a great idea. Big health risks loom!

Sketches from scratches is a provocative blogspot that has grown out of the Wuh Lax experience. It is eclectic, which means that it might consider just about anything from the simple to the extremely difficult. A scratch can be something that is troubling me or a short line on paper. From a scratch comes a verbal sketch or image sketch of the issue or subject. Other sites have other stuff that should really be of interest to the broad reader. I try to develop themes, but variety often comes before depth. ... more!
