Eastwood name!
Rich items are filthy to the poor and an affront to poverty, like Marie Antoinnette offering cake to starving peasants.
What is the message in destroying a valuable sought after item? It's that the item is not really so valuable and that it is an affront to humanity and other values. On the other hand, the mix of valuable and worthless objects is wrong. Too few objects are really worthwhile and even though valuable objects exist, they should not be used to emphasize the gap between rich and poor. Conspicuous consumption is not such a good idea in a world where democratic values are supported.
Eastwood is making a political as well as economic statement in the destruction of an object of desire. That process may be deemed as artistic, but then so is violence. We abhor violence and we abhor waste!
People question publicity stunt! Good or bad news it does not matter as long as the image and you are associated within millions of minds. Art is memory and association!

From a scratch comes a verbal sketch or image sketch of the issue or subject. Other sites have other stuff that should really be of interest to the broad reader. I try to develop themes, but variety often comes before depth.
