Being taxed without benefit ... Digital surveillance: what our phone records say about us - Telegraph

We are obviously paying too much for use of cell phones. If so much information is being stored real time, we are individually paying to be watched, so what benefit is there from this tax. It's a bit like being taxed without being able to represent oneself. That's what triggered the American revolution, I think?
