Getting rid of the demand for colonies is best for world peace. Russia should take note. Putin lives in a horrible past with deplorable consequences arising from colonialism and subjugation of people. We hate that.

Its probably best to let America sort out Europe's eastern military problems. Russia does not want to waken the sleeping European giant that has several times laid waste to a sizeable portion of its population. One forgets the complicity of Russian Jews starving Ukraine. Why does Putin not remember how colonies create conflict. Serbia needs to be remembered as the colonial location in which the world began and fought its most stupid war. Hitler did a copy cat of Russian murder technologies. These bits of history are despicable reminders of how colonies need to be shed.

Similarly China should not try to establish colonies. That would see its enormously vulnerable people dying in huge numbers from starvation and unimaginable hardships. Get on with recycling and building a solar age. Stick your finger up to the oil and gas barons, but don't try to grab colonies. My advice.

Russia created colonies on its borders while the Europeans created them around the world.

The difference is now that Europe has given up its colonies and it would be very wise for Russia to do the same.

Mr Putin you are living in a past colonial period and you are TOO stupid to realize the world has moved on.

Shame on your ignorance Putin.

Sketches from scratches is a provocative blogspot that has grown out of the Wuh Lax experience. It is eclectic, which means that it might consider just about anything from the simple to the extremely difficult. A scratch can be something that is troubling me or a short line on paper. From a scratch comes a verbal sketch or image sketch of the issue or subject. Other sites have other stuff that should really be of interest to the broad reader. I try to develop themes, but variety often comes before depth. ... more!
