No Weapons!

It is during the second great war and a French man and a German are in tanks facing off against each other. Both tanks were rendered useless in the fight. The remaining officers are in something of a puzzle because both of their crews have raised hatches and run off. "Nothing for it!" thinks the French officer, "I'll get out and surrender." He raises the hatch of his tank, but bumps his head hard as he is climbing out. When he recovers, he raises his arm in the air waving a white flag and climbs down from the French tank. Still stunned he walks in a wobbly line towards the German tank. Inside a German tank gunner has seen all that has happened, noting that the Frenchman is unarmed and surrendering. He raises the hatch on the German tank and climbs down. He stands in front of the French man and flings his arm outward and upward into the air and shouts, "Heil Hitler!" The French man is very surprised and lowers his flag. He looks strangely at the proud German and asks, "Who?"

Sketches from scratches is a provocative blogspot that has grown out of the Wuh Lax experience. It is eclectic, which means that it might consider just about anything from the simple to the extremely difficult. A scratch can be something that is troubling me or a short line on paper. From a scratch comes a verbal sketch or image sketch of the issue or subject. Other sites have other stuff that should really be of interest to the broad reader. I try to develop themes, but variety often comes before depth. ... more!
