The problem is really what the costs are to the environment and to the lives of ordinary people who don't own property or land!

1 IN 2 COUNTRIES UNPREPARED TO PREVENT AND MANAGE CANCERS, SAYS WHO SURVEY
Frightening statistic as we increase the odds of debilitating cancer to one in two people? Silent murder?
Do you work from home and did you know of growing concerns about residential EMF radiation? - Press Release - Digital Journal
Considered to be a must read article for those working from home and active in the digital world, i.e. those exposed full blast silently but constantly!
Conference of international astronomical union in victoria, British Columbia.
Going on until yesterday?
The fine print people say changing diet can affect whether you get cancer from EMF radiation emitted from your cell phone or cell tower!
How great is your diet?
It's not as simple as all that, but at least the fine print oriented medical community in North America is starting to talk about real brain cancer risks from cell phone use and ways to limit damage. It's all based on probabilities, like accidents cross the road. But, the numbers in highly populated areas, such as Brazil, India and China give substance to conjecture. Perhaps, for many local babies and young adults the damage is done already. Makes you want to shield yourself by changing diet!
What are you personally doing? Do you have a spouse or friend who died of lung cancer because of cigarette smoking? Maybe your children will lose loved ones or themselves die prematurely. The evidence is growing in spite of denials from the industry, and casual observers who do not read fine print, that cell phone use for certain age groups and cell towers in many locations spread disease that is neither traceable nor preventable?
Do what I do and use your cell phone as a camera in airplane mode!
Who is representing your interests in your locality or nationally? ...... Really .... Don't make me laugh! I am already in pain and anguish over this for you!

Justin Trudeau would be good for Canada anytime! Let's make that clear?
Why the Sun is worried about Justin is anyone's guess. Perhaps, they are in the pockets of some powerful group. I think Trudeau leadership would fantastic, excellent, superb etc.
The Harper government reminds me of the Diefenbaker days that were so wasteful and disastrous for Canadians. Harper is so Bush like, it is worrying everyone who has the ability to think ahead. What's all his stuff about military Canada? Canada used to promote peace not the US agenda for aggression.
It is time we had someone and a team of thinking individuals who knew what was good for Canada, who knew what he was doing!
Yes to Trudeau!
Shell and BP are now increasingly worried because the environmental economics of gas based energy are awful and could lead to methane gas bubble! Whither fossil Fuels! Problem inherent in technologies that increasingly pollute more than safe life on earth can tolerate!

Next-generation wireless networks: From Gigabit Wi-Fi to white space
FYI !
So what really happens to wireless waves in heavy rainy weather when a community relies on wireless for beach / boating safety.
Incidence of failure during inclement weather is a concern with wireless systems.
Unfortunately, the automatic adjustment of cell and tower power during rainy weather adds to unreliability of wireless signal and possibly the health issues. But, I suppose people are more likely to drown in sunny clear sky dry and calm weather?
Do you get head aches, bone chills in storms, wet, or cold weather? Is it the cold or is there something else going on associated with water, radiation and metals? Ever wonder why such periods with the stressful wireless electrical mix are affecting you?

China has had the benefit of thirty years of export led growth. It's real test will be that of developing China itself copycatting the development of many Asian countries towards a more liberal approach for its people
Economy has been export led?
Will China ever import finished products more than raw materials.
What are the political choices given most of its growth has been based on following rather than leading in the development of beautiful art and craft?
Can China blossom culturally or will it partake in horrid dullness?

In your philosophical enquiries, it is important to realise that the mathematics we use most often defines our perspective.
When scientists started using imaginary numbers their attitude to reality changed significantly. My father used music instead of mathematics and found that music told him of other realities, particularly that we are all like waves and occasionally harmony created unimaginable beauty. It is in the nature of waves that you will understand what you are and whether your signals and wave patterns allow you to behold beauty. Many of us can appreciate musical waves even though we cannot create harmonies ourselves. Since waves behave laws that are not restricted to time and space, it was easy for my father to realise that other worlds existed in which higher levels of harmony enriched those creations of these higher wave form worlds. He thought of such places as heaven and such places could be reached by working on those parts within you that are timeless matter less and infinitely eternal. Such waves exist, but it takes a master to see their value in everyday living.
As I write in my book, its all about the fine tuning and realising that one has to correct for imperfections in one's 'wave' reader!
Always good thoughts,

Hello RT,I found your letter/blog - the one which which stimulated my thoughts to a level causing me to wish to respond. It was in my email trash although clearly not the one I had planned to dispose of. This time, after accessing the New Zealand website for which you provided a link, I wrote down the words which had caught my eye and fortunately so because on my next try I found all of my "trashed" email had been permanently deleted. The particular statements to which I subscribe include the following: "Only religious fundamentalists have certitude. Their knowledge is a belief system that's immune to realworld experience and facts. Science is the method of critically testing competing theories. Successful theories are only ever tentative.""History deeply demonstrates that religions mixed with power and money readily survive long past their "use-by dates" (per Rodney Hyde).I tend also to subscribe to the statement by Steven King (the mystery writer) to the effect that he saw religion as an "elaborate afterlife insurance scam". (At the extreme, this has even gone as far as successful (in actual $sales) advertizing for a Place in Heaven. At the same time I hardly blame those who have devoted their lives and made livings from using religion for its best purposes - personally I and multi-millions have benefitted from such efforts. Unfortunately, traditional religion in just about any form has proven far too susceptible to more devious uses.At one time, after stepping up to agnosticism, I was unable to grasp how anyone could possibly claim with certainty the viewpoint of atheism (a view held and shared with me by Diane's sister Carol, whose position intially truly shocked me). However, I eventually came to recognise that, while there can be no certainty with respect to such matters (if not all matters of so-called fact), broadly accepted levels/terms of rational/logical argument require only the highest levels of certainty (not perfect certainty) to accept application of the word "certainty". To argue otherwise is simply to refute the whole point of iintelligent communication. The suggestion that the efforts of scientists now concerned with global warming are a form of religion because of the lack of certainty seems to be geared toward discounting these concerns as a basis for action. Personally, I see this as about as meaningful and helpful as discounting early efforts against the tobacco companies because their zeal could be compared to the historic zeal found within many religions (with even less scientific evidence than now available relative to global warming).

Sketches from scratches is a provocative blogspot that has grown out of the Wuh Lax experience. It is eclectic, which means that it might consider just about anything from the simple to the extremely difficult. A scratch can be something that is troubling me or a short line on paper. From a scratch comes a verbal sketch or image sketch of the issue or subject. Other sites have other stuff that should really be of interest to the broad reader. I try to develop themes, but variety often comes before depth.
