Apple Watch announcement hurts watchmaker stocks - Yahoo Finance UK

"Apple CEO Tim Cook revealed the Apple Watch an hour into the announcement, which was at about 2pm in New York. Shares in Movado - the luxury watchmaker whose brands include Coach, Hugo Boss and Tommy Hlifiger - fell 2pc from their intraday high. Fossil, the company behind Armani, DKNY and Diesel watches, saw its stock lose almost 3pc. Shares in Guess, which relies on watches for a good chunk of its sales, also fell."
