Putin is such a very bad economist. Even Marx would have rolled over in his grave.

What Putin achieved in negative terms in less than a month took pain and hard work for Russians to build in a decade. Crazy economics makes no strategic sense whatsoever? Wasted economic multiplier effect from the Olympic investments ... And add the wasted spending on military equipment servicing and personnel. Not good economics by anyone's standards.
