The real future market growth in electronic devices will come from cooperation not competition

The problem is, however, that there is not a lot of trust out there. The politics of advertising show how much electronic device and software markets are confusing rather than educating users and developers. This slows down the overall growth and development. Microsoft had the opportunity to like Apple but fumbled the ball many times when it could have gained the field for itself had brains been working to help consumers rather than help Microsoft to greater profits and market dominance.
The Microsoft model changed about 1988 when instead of focusing on market development, small business's that wanted to grow and decent consumer products, it started profit maximising and actually went out of its way to hinder consumers by restricting development of language and interface environment products.
The result was hatred for the new Bill Gates and the new hat he was wearing which unlike before was centred on Bill Gates not consumers and developers. So slow was Microsoft in developing its software that it became a joke about who was faster, the virus creators or Microsoft. Disgruntled consumers and developers wanted to bring Microsoft to its knees and virus creation became the order of the day.
The American model of competition at all costs does not work. It only slows an economy's growth rate, slows market development, stuns research, and upsets users. American opted for China because they hated the American competitive model. Fleeing to a world without competition has destroyed the American dream and made it a total sham.
Along comes Apple and says by its actions that it wants consumers to really enjoy its safe and marvellous products. The best thing Microsoft could do now would be to save its life by thinking consumers first and Microsoft second not the politics of competition. Cooperation with Apple would be a winner for Microsoft but competition would destroy it.
Far better to embrace a new attitude of making a better product than slamming others for their product's limitations. Far better for Microsoft to embrace design and futuristic development options that push forward cooperation between consumers and their things rather than competition. Get rid of an American competitive model which like the theory of evolution has major major flaws. To win, survive through blending in and cooperating otherwise you become extinct.

"The idea that God supports Holy War is total rubbish! The only war God wants is the war against dominance of weaker minds by those who fabricate wars for unseemly ends. God is love and light and anyone, prophet or not, who says the contrary is a bold faced liar, totally insane, or totally on the wrong path. Any different message about the relationship between man and God is not going to bring about an afterlife or any form of eternal peace."

As put by Charles Darwin to Francis Galton: ' […] I have always maintained that, excepting fools, men did not differ much in intellect, only in zeal and hard work; I still think this an eminently important difference.'"

"Truth and reality, once told or experienced, is only a stranger before the first instance. One must learn to recognise one's ephemeral friends very soon. Some experience, sense and recognise both the truth and reality before it happens, while others never at all."

Sketches from scratches is a provocative blogspot that has grown out of the Wuh Lax experience. It is eclectic, which means that it might consider just about anything from the simple to the extremely difficult. A scratch can be something that is troubling me or a short line on paper. From a scratch comes a verbal sketch or image sketch of the issue or subject. Other sites have other stuff that should really be of interest to the broad reader. I try to develop themes, but variety often comes before depth. ... more!
