Shocked! Utterly Shocked! | Rantsville

"If I could see myself in time, I would be as a shadow cast upon the lakeshore, a fleeting disturbance to what is otherwise a sunny beach. A footprint that is quickly washed away. I leave no shadow nor footprint. Tomorrow, there is no evidence of my being present on this peaceful scene! Were it not for a chance coincidence of meeting another with a light burning from within, my purpose and shadow cast, would all be for naught! Alas, I took a photo?"
