Protesters in Iran Clash With Police - WSJ.com

Anger mounts in Iran and the strength of the protest movement grows. Iranian leadership, it would appear, is not immune to challenges that it has obtained illegitimate power. People seem to want a fair shake and greater relevance of the affairs of state to problems the daily have to face in living. The distance between what they see on Western media and what they experience in life under a despotic regime whether dictatorship by religious or by military forces has grown to a point that reality to a lesser existence represents pain.

It wouls seem that the disconnect between what is possible and what is happening in ordinary lives has become so evident as to drive them almost insane with anger, an at the very least closer to rebellion.
