Kieron Williamson ... Artist starting out ... Pennington an artist Discovered his talent

Kieron, a very young artist in the UK, has a rare opportunity to make a comfortable living off his painting efforts owing to the publicity he has received from Television.

Art is hard work and born out of a passion for the realisation of an object the painting. At least, that is where it starts out. Kieron is obviously aware of the beauty to be found through art and the work that I have seen is suggestive of a balanced personality.

He is no Picasso despite a very high IQ. What he is a young lad full of promise and known by a willing market. Picasso's art though brilliant was born out of the pain of loss of his best friend and the psychosis, an extreme sensitivity to the hidden side of the female personality. Kieron will not be a Picasso, but he could make a wonderful contribution to his country through revealing art. In Cornwall, he has a chance to be stimulated by topography, but also by history. If he immerses himself in the landscape, he will unearth it's hidden secrets, just as artists like Arthur Ranscome.

My advice would be to take him to Greenham, Somerset to visit with Richard Willis for a day. The Willis family has been in art for more than a century and Richard is particularly talented. At 85 or so, he would enjoy spending time discussing art with a young lad, accompanied by his beautiful mother, starting out.

Kieron should be introduced to Renoir and the impressionists, who seem to have an affinity because of colours.

Sketches from scratches is a provocative blogspot that has grown out of the Wuh Lax experience. It is eclectic, which means that it might consider just about anything from the simple to the extremely difficult. A scratch can be something that is troubling me or a short line on paper. From a scratch comes a verbal sketch or image sketch of the issue or subject. Other sites have other stuff that should really be of interest to the broad reader. I try to develop themes, but variety often comes before depth. ... more!
