Are we waking up to what the effect of real democracy in Egypt could do to end the impasse in political change throughout the Arab world? We feel comfortable with quiet Egypt, but that silence has been bought at a price. It may be that the most populous country in the Middle East is finally waking up to assume a greater role in defining the future of the region. Sad about the looting of historic sites!
