Tim Pawlenty: Government Unions vs. Taxpayers - WSJ.com

These comments from a Minnesota Governor may be popular in some circles but they are a real stretch of the imagination and real not very helpful in finding a long term solution to America's ills. Since the economy needs to remain diversified why not place the onus on US firms to keep up with what's going on elsewhere and play a citizenship role as well. Is it only Gevernment employers that are good citizens?

The idiots view would be ....Yes, they should be punished in this blind rage for excuses. NOT.

The governor should realize its no good carping about those actually loyal to the country and still have their capital working in America. Downsizing government is not a solution it's a stupid and I repeat stupid excuse for not keeping private capital in America and having government military contracts reign supreme in the new job market. He might also reconsider the damage done while George was asleep at the helm, or was he awake, hummmm.

Sketches from scratches is a provocative blogspot that has grown out of the Wuh Lax experience. It is eclectic, which means that it might consider just about anything from the simple to the extremely difficult. A scratch can be something that is troubling me or a short line on paper. From a scratch comes a verbal sketch or image sketch of the issue or subject. Other sites have other stuff that should really be of interest to the broad reader. I try to develop themes, but variety often comes before depth. ... more!
