Phone hacking: Glenn Mulcaire blames 'relentless pressure' by NoW for actions | Media | The Guardian

Spying more like?

What we don't know about what others are doing can easily hurt us!

It's one thing for authorized entities to spy, but not for private publishing concerns who should be sued for everything they have!

Notes ... Loads of Questions Concerning Power Brokering and Potential Corruption in the Highest Offices

Notes ... Loads of Questions Concerning Power Brokering and Potential Corruption in the Highest Offices

1. How Corrupt is Rupert Murdoch?

News Corp - editorial offices appear to have been involved in opportunistic new gathering beyond what has, was, or is, considered legal.

How thoroughly and comprehensively corruption spills from the Chairman of News Corporation, Rupert Murdoch to the news gathering and publishing should be a major focus of corruption investigation.

Big question of money interests, power brokering interests, buying competitive and political advantages using unethical methods normally considered the domain of spies, spooks, and secret police.

Rupert Murdoch Chairman of News Corporation wants to acquire interests to control BSkyB. His power reach and that of his family and interests over such a group would probably stain Britain for several generations.

Through the connection of Murdoch to the unethical news room of News Corp during 2003-2006, we can consider whether the Prime Minister's Office has been contaminated by importing a member of the news room staff who was heavily involved in unethical acts of phone hacking, ie. Spying.

2. Who Was Spying? Should there be a death penalty for spying on people bombed by terrorists and then publishing what you find in the press?

How seriously should we consider pressing charges against Rupert Murdoch a rich power broker and head of an alleged international spy ring centered in News Corp Offices.

How far does the corrupting influence of Rupert Murdoch stretch. Is he influencing the thoughts and words of the Conservative Government, especially through the Prime Minister's Office. Who should be arrested here?

Should Murdoch be now considered an undesirable alien?

3. Influence peddling by Rupert Murdoch comes to mind.

Using your company to buy influence is influence peddling. Spying on the public is espionage and illegal. Using what you find from spying is unethical and corrupt.

5. Bribing of Police

Police
News International

6. Should Murdoch be allowed ownership of BSkyB?

No!

Ofcom needs to do research properly!

£ 9.6 bn offer is too low in any event.

Suitable owners need to be found.

7. Anything Goes Hacking?

Need to research corrupt 2003-2006 culture of anything goes for a big story!

Editorial Office was out of control?

Pensions and economic growth: Affording pensions | The Economist

People are living longer not because they work for more years, but because they retire younger! I think the government is scamming it's employees on this. They kill you off at work and pay out less when you retire. Then you die younger because you worked for more years!

The loss of trust is a seed for long term tension and violent confrontation between intelligent people. So many lies and false promises cannot keep a society together and could easily lead to the destruction of democracy, possibly a new form of anti terrorist control and hidden fascism will emerge! Unwanted now, but for how long?

So you live longer! It's not the government that is investing in you to live longer, but you doing the exercise and making wise eating habits and enjoying less stress.

How can government that's scamming the public be trusted over the longer term?

Campaign highlights Samsung workers' cancer deaths .. , 'this product was manufactured under conditions allegedly hazardous to workers, which we deny, but which we really don't want to investigate further as no law says we have to!'

Commercial goods don't yet label their inputs as so many deaths due to cancer in the process of manufacture!

Is your neighbour affected or you yourself?

Would you buy a product knowing people died in the manufacturing stage?

Clusters of cancer deaths around manufacturing facilities sound mighty suspicious.

Yes! Accountability is needed and perhaps better labelling, such as, 'this product was manufactured under conditions allegedly hazardous to workers, which we deny, but which we really don't want to investigate further as no law says we have to!'

Weakened security arising from a New system of domain names. A disaster about to kill confidence in the Internet!

May happen but it will destroy the existing confidence in security, weak as it is, on the www. People will stick to what they know and only heavily advertised sites will be deemed secure. In essence, it will kill confidence in the Internet's security, and be extremely costly! In my humble view, it could change the Internet into a stupid game for moneyed players!

How much damage did ATF's ill-fated gun-running sting do to war on drugs? - CSMonitor.com

It does not take too much imagination to project ahead a few generations to a point were guns foster revolution within America then disgruntled unemployed overturn democracy leading to a state armed to the teeth. If it can happen in Somalia, it can happen in America. America's loose gun laws are arming the future revolutionaries who use drugs as a way to whittle down resistance to democratic institutions and pave the way to chaos on the streets. The gun lords keep upping the ante! Legally?

How Congress's anger over Libya mission became a civics lesson - CSMonitor.com

You have to have an intuition that this is the right course. One sets oneself apart from the rest of the world only to put at risk future generations. It's, however, not common sense in a world focused on the short term!

Braving police, Saudi women drivers take to streets - CSMonitor.com

Silly outdated male attitudes?

Can you believe what these Arab men still try to get away using laws and silly restrictions within a world that is awakening to enormously outdated male attitudes?

Where in the Koran does it say women are inferior?

It's more than 5 billion to 10 million, you guys. It's time to reform.

Bahrain stages trials of opponents, despite new US criticism - CSMonitor.com

Bahrain is going down the tubes with this sort of thing! In a modern world the record of abuse of power is a permanent scar on humanity, just as the acts of terrorism that are birthed because of it are!

The Case for a Global Depression as put forth in etoro

This sounds pretty harsh. There is merit to the idea that a re-gearing of the Chinese economy is needed. Will they be as ingenious as the Japanese in moving from toys to other goods as America and other importing dynamos become more demanding in their tastes? The American economy is adjusting the hard and painful way.

The Internet User's Best Kept Secret

Sketches from scratches is a provocative blogspot that has grown out of the Wuh Lax experience. It is eclectic, which means that it might consider just about anything from the simple to the extremely difficult. A scratch can be something that is troubling me or a short line on paper. From a scratch comes a verbal sketch or image sketch of the issue or subject. Other sites have other stuff that should really be of interest to the broad reader. I try to develop themes, but variety often comes before depth. ... more!
