Is texting killing the English language? | GulfNews.com

Not in the slightest!

Texting allows more for words and for greater usage like Pitman or Gregg Shorthand!

Language needs to evolve with use of new technologies. People might like to say 'clr' instead of colour, but the latter will remain in use until its no longer needed in the former!
