Smart meters foiled?

For my smart water meter, I have found that a bit of tin foil with the shiny part facing toward the meter seems to go a long way to eliminating the offending radiation through the home. I wonder whether such action would work for smart electric meters. The power my be in our hands to physically control the pollution. If nothing is done, the home is probably saturated 24/7.
