No! Harper is definitely wrong, in my opinion! My rant ....
We might begin by saying, it's not who is right or wrong! It's who and whose answer appeals more to a male hunter killer instinctive approach and who and whose opinion appeals to women's protective sense, missing in some males, and the nurturing instinct in their subconscious response to terrorism that wants good answers in an increasingly complex social mix!
Women I think want real understandable answers more than results, but the Harper led men and women want too much the quick result. = Relax guys, we killed the bastards! Harper's reaction shows his low social intelligence relative to requirements for leadership, and short term analysis of long term economic and social issues.
He is in my humble opinion, a real failure as a leader and needs to be sidelined by better people in our Conservative party that can see the forest from the trees, the long term implications of knee jerk action on the long term dynamics of a complex evolving society.
Harper like Bush is a disaster for the globe. His wanting everything now! Now! Now! Ignore the Native peoples at the expense of the long term sociological development of Canada. Take away their rights and lands because it is opportune. That is no way to lead a thinking and feeling country which is hurting inside because of his intolerant and downright short term society less analytics! He gives Canada away to help his moneyed friends because he does not feel for the larger dynamics.
I think Harper made a major mistake of judgement based on his biases and will pay for it in elections to come in Canada!
Women are much more aware of the many alienation contributors to terror because of their own historic exclusion from the political process. Call it sociology, but it is important in political processes, and no Murdoch based media machine pulling the other way will offset that.
In the case of Muslim young men emerging in a free society, they are not thinking for themselves enough, have not experienced the 'positive' political freedom American liberalism can offer, and probably leave too much to religious dogma that captivates and exploits hidden messages / prejudices about the dominant male role in Muslim or any society.
It's only my international Canadian opinion!
