Pensions and economic growth: Affording pensions | The Economist

People are living longer not because they work for more years, but because they retire younger! I think the government is scamming it's employees on this. They kill you off at work and pay out less when you retire. Then you die younger because you worked for more years!

The loss of trust is a seed for long term tension and violent confrontation between intelligent people. So many lies and false promises cannot keep a society together and could easily lead to the destruction of democracy, possibly a new form of anti terrorist control and hidden fascism will emerge! Unwanted now, but for how long?

So you live longer! It's not the government that is investing in you to live longer, but you doing the exercise and making wise eating habits and enjoying less stress.

How can government that's scamming the public be trusted over the longer term?
