It will be interesting to watch Facebook evolve.
Up until now Facebook has enabled bridges between people who wanted information about specific people, but Facebook wants to provide general information that one would normally obtain elsewhere. That's precisely where people may want to go to get their information about people they know ... elsewhere.
Facebook is fine when it's a quiet village, but as a town or city, it may not be a pleasant experience. I for one prefer the nuances of an information village rather than the city, but I know young people prefer the opportunities of the information city... the hustle and bustle of activity. Shame how innovation accidentally destroys the beauty of past or less developed arrangements?
