If you look at 2011's climate events you would be surprised that the higher cost economics of climate change are a minor issue. The issue is how 'quickly' America will go bankrupt from repairing assets destroyed by major disasters whether caused directly or indirectly from climate deterioration and in the process lose tolerance and compassion as problems overwhelm financial capacity and the country slip away from it's potential role as a leading community!
