Egyptian president takes a stance that suggests a huge disconnect between himself and his people. What Mubarak does not seem to realise is that his usefulness is at an end, that to fight change will lose him all that he has gained while to leave would give him some dignity. We all wonder what will be revealed after the Mubarak time has past. What will history tell us about the man that we don't know already? What will events show about the nature of his character?
