Message from Melissa on Dr Mercola article ...

Dr. Mercola has put out a great article on the topic of EMF's.

It starts out with a video from Dr. Devra Davis expressing a short direct message that you can pass on to your family and friends.

She mentions Dr. Lennart Hardell, an oncologist in Sweden, and his new study showing a direct link to brain gliomas. She is also recommending precaution taken now and not waiting any longer. Dr. Hardell has a blog that you can see here:  http://lennarthardellenglish.wordpress.com/

Dr. Mercola also mentions in the written part of the article about how radio frequency and electromagnetic fields can affect the mitochondrial function of cells causing dysfunction.

As an electro-sensitive person who has been researching my illness, this discussion of mitochondrial dysfunction comes up again and again. It is also associated with many other illness and disease, which would explain their rise as society has increased its use of microwave radiation. There are drugs being used now to repair the mitochondria and some people have had success with them. I am personally looking into this now.

Dr. Mercola also goes on to explain how the Hardell study was done by using regression analysis. He also talks about the possible mechanism of harm coming from cellular stress response, on which he sites Dr. Martin Blank's research. Dr. Martin Blank recently published his book called, "Overpowered" which is highly recommended.

He sums up with some good tips for reducing exposure and even considering the health of those who are sensitive.

Sketches from scratches is a provocative blogspot that has grown out of the Wuh Lax experience. It is eclectic, which means that it might consider just about anything from the simple to the extremely difficult. A scratch can be something that is troubling me or a short line on paper. From a scratch comes a verbal sketch or image sketch of the issue or subject. Other sites have other stuff that should really be of interest to the broad reader. I try to develop themes, but variety often comes before depth. ... more!
