Alberta austerity seems to be for no legitimate reason as "surprise" budget surplus pops Bitumen Bubble

Depressing reading actually!

Kinda makes you think the Alberta budget authorities made a stupid big mistake for anti-social reasons. They should spend more to sort out the Alberta housing and educational issues. These are more like capital than current spending if properly administered. Spending on people's home security and futures ensures they don't look like jackasses in the future.

A more Northerly approach is needed forgetting the yankee doodle social ideas imported from the south...

There are parallels across the whole of Canada and the Federal budget process. In the latter, bullets and bombs were more important than communications and unity of the country.

Does anyone in Canada, especially Alberta really think beyond the superficial?  Nah. Nah?

Don't rush your best ideas. Grow them....

Sketches from scratches is a provocative blogspot that has grown out of the Wuh Lax experience. From a scratch comes a verbal sketch or image sketch of the issue or subject. Other sites have other stuff that should really be of interest to the broad reader. I try to develop themes, but variety often comes before depth. ... more!
