The link author below claims an optimistic position. Obviously, if everyone does something to help mitigate what could be a disaster then the fact of doing nothing reaps rewards. It is, nevertheless, a pathological position in my view.
Relocate to the flats in Somerset England or even London, England, a city near a large body of tidal water, and hold the same view as the author of the link. We saw New York under water? What if the Thames barrier did not hold?
Who is kidding whom? I am not optimistic!
Don't rush your best ideas. Grow them....
