Getting closer to meaning with abstraction...

In writing as in drawing, sketches allow a creator to explore dimensions of work before taking a mood or inference to the next stage. I find that if I allow ideas to peculate, they eventually evolve into recognizable entities as my brain tries to make sense out of nonsense. We all have experienced the 'aha' moment when a vision pops into the mind that translates a mish mash of lines and markings to something meaningful. Few people realize how little control they actually exercise over what they think or do.

There is a semblance of I that does not really exist. Our brain is great at deception and we do not realize that what has happened was predetermined. What is really scary is how that is translated into the mind of the universe where some individuals, have experienced precognition of a future event. In some cases, we realize this as a 'deja vu' moment. But, consider that the realization has actually happened ahead of the awareness of the realization as one part of the brain tells the other about a gap or linkage in inference.

Occasionally, it is like seeing a vision in 4D, our world suddenly becomes an additional plane of understanding that the many brains of our mind suddenly put together and tell us that we have mentally moved across time. Our brain has entangled another time with the present. Our greatest respect arises when we know with certainty that this can occur either forward or backward in time, or more commonly between states of mental organization, we think of dreams, but which can be reorganized and repeatedly experienced occupancies of visibility. What we are seem crosses that barrier between what we deem as real and unreal.  A dream that contains characters that move in time between dream experiences.

We dream a story that we return to in sleep. The story contains all the components of drama that our mind trues to resolve in a plane other than our conscious realizations and sensing. We can deny the existence of these stories at our peril, but they may be / are 'I think' the true determinants of our behaviour and decisions. The mental actors predetermine outcomes that we may not have input to. So is your reality a dream / awareness occurring on two planes or many. Forgotten is the reality of the second plane being aware of additional planes of mental causation and awareness, ad infinitum. What we see in our waking moments is a highly prepared series of events concocted in our mind and others over which we consciously have little input. It is our deception that tells us otherwise.

Thus, Mr Putin has already murdered millions of Ukrainians and Islamic Arabs in his mind. His brain is struggling with the abstraction before he commits to action. He, however, obeys rather than directs. How many Chinese deaths will his dreams concoct?

Don't rush your best ideas. Grow them....

Sketches from scratches is a provocative blogspot that has grown out of the Wuh Lax experience. It is eclectic, which means that it might consider just about anything from the simple to the extremely difficult. A scratch can be something that is troubling me or a short line on paper. From a scratch comes a verbal sketch or image sketch of the issue or subject. Other sites have other stuff that should really be of interest to the broad reader. I try to develop themes, but variety often comes before depth. ... more!
