Perhaps, the use of other systems such as Linked in and Facebook would mitigate the overall results, after all, Wikipedia is free! What could one expect for nothing? Nothing! 

Well, not exactly. Who really knows where academic reviews are going and how much the consumer student reads Wikipedia. Maybe there is a hidden price effect of Wikipedia benefiting the non-peer review process. 

Peer reviews will be mired in tradition!
