Article takes a rather cynical look at the way the free market should operate and encourages continued investment in fossil fuels.
My view is also cynical about the morals of the so called just American money and investment people laughing all the way to their million dollar mansions. Sort of reminds one of why the first and second world wars were fought.
In Wall Street eyes its negative freedom that counts! It's OK to do bad things because it is not forbidden by law. Thus, the American approach to almost everything. Foreclose on your neighbour after you have cheated him into buying a shoddy house at an exorbitant price. Tear down the house and build another even shoddier one. Build and sell the replacement on leveraged credit. Once you have made a turn, run away and leave the mess for the workers to pay for out of taxes thar are regressively design against them.
What is your vision of a more just world economy? Can you help in it's design?
