We all know that an economy long long based on property speculation was not a viable long term strategy. Britain struggles to re-invent its economy! It's now clear that the economy faces a slow uphill battle to diversify into new forms of service and high tech products based on science and R and D rather than the quick fix housing market that really does nothing to develop the economy.
