So, so true! This is the now generation and significant reform is needed! Get with a program of significant reform! That is good sense and praise be to Cameron! Like so many things, the Church of England has failed families with its inflexibility regarding male dominance of the top positions of the priesthood. What should distinguish Christians from Islamists is the willingness to do significant reform in the age of the Higgs Boson! Were we not educated to think? Silly, uneducated statements refering to the right of male dominance in proclaiming religious messages as contained in Genesis in the Bible are nothing but handmedowns and extreme claptrap and sop for excessively dominated people who never learned how to use ordinary logic appropriately! Marriage is between equals and the institution needs to be extended, tolerant of new understandings in a cybernetic world and become more inclusive of creatures capable of logical extensible thought. Subserviance in religion is absolute nonsense and crazy! Much of the bible is known by even the most simple minded as containing considerable mythology or story telling and to use it to stop justified theological reform is ludicrous! Archaeology has shown much of the bible and koran as fabrication! People should be not held permanently in dissonance between what they know with certainty and the fairy tales contained in great religious books of the liturature of the past, much of which was filtered through narrow minded people in an age when thought was regarded as dangerous. Yeh! For whom? All churches and religions need to reform so as to get away from the insanity of bad feelings , distrust and war. The Christian and Muslim message is one of inclusiveness, tolerance, love and family. Not good to exclude women from priesthood! Time to shed rediculous attitudes that promote nothing but violence and insane behaviours.
