Possibly the production side of the economy is now beyond repair for several decades and the only one's who can afford to consume without massive debt are those living off the incomes / dividends of investments made outside America. Thus, the middle ground of America is rapidly disappearing and the country split between rich and poor, those earning from abroad and those earning from activity outside manufacturing. As this split worsens, conflict must surely follow and political rancor increase.
Yes, indeed, America may be quickly evolving into a preditor-prey form of society without a loyal citizenry in the sense of being of mind to invest at home, and somewhat similar to divisions in society reminiscent of old Europe from which capital migrated away and left the home economies in desperation and division with wars almost a direct consequence.
Better in my view for American firms to invest at home and make the manufacturing sector truly competitive. For the time being no one wishes in America to save and all is speculation which is at the root of it's problems.

Will not time reveal the lasting importance of friends and mutual respect? Be kind to those who think well of you and those you know and try to add positive elements to your world. Promote peace in your heart and sunshine in the minds of those around you by your own good works. Elevate the level of discussion by thinking less of the issues and more of how you can reduce the tension of stress that arises with honest disagreement. Relax by breathing more deeply and consciously.
