Rev. William Reed Lake
of Lowville, Ontario

Gurdjieff, the thinker and teacher of philosophy, refers to the Law of Three Forces. His work is discussed in the various issues of the Gurdjieff Review. My father, the Reverend William Reed Lake was a devout Christian, who lived to be 94 years of age and served as a missionary in Chapelton, Jamaica. His predessor was Rev. S.A Selby. Dad worked along side Rev. Lawrence Squires, of Lymington, England. He would say how important it was to begin your day properly, that the thoughts of one's waking hours defined the way you lived your life. He believed in the work, as did his father, and his grandfather.

I try to develop themes, but variety often comes before depth. ... more!
