The connection to Greek debt is only partly explained as US blood money of a corrupt American military industrial security complex to fund terrorists that keep arms money flowing back to the States. Theme is that corrupt American security firms create massive debt in Greece that the IMF writes off as blood money. What we must ask is the truth? We know Greece spends well above the world average on defence, but why?

Greece and what former IMF Director DSK regards as the way forward
DSK is back and now he us advising Cuba.
I think everyone has to climb down on Greece as DSK recommends.
One has to feel sorry for the Europeans who got into all this mess because of American bankers and their immoral policies, condoned as acceptable competitive practices in the wars between international banks. These have replaced bullets and explosives, but are just as dangerous. Problem is that they are not well researched and I am not being paid £200k to do that research
In my view, it is American banks that need the hair cut. Young bankers in Europe were stupid / ignorant enough not to understand how exchange rates move constantly and that interest swaps on doubtful property assets are a fools game.
Governments bail out the banks and hand the weakest in their economies the bills of indenture. Its a bit like slavery, but legal and the bakers support the con ...
In addition, the likes of the Glasers and the Kochs still mess everyone up ...

M A R C E L L I S O N | Data- & Photojournalist » On War’s Centrifugality: Paul Watson
Doug Bonesteel,
It would seem that you and Paul have some major things in common. Principles .. Intelligences .. Convictions .. A hatred of bullying .. And a high disregard for foolish decisions.
Don't let the misguided bullies get you down. Within a playpen of missing smarts and brights, you really shine.
If you ever want to meet to explain your frustrations to sympathetic ears, let me know.
I am myself am not prepared to let bullies push me around on issues where corruption is the order of the day or the economics and environment are sacrificed. My memory will be extremely long, my street smarts, and my wits exercised as long as my brain willingly functions.
Thanks,
Arthur

Global Warming, Greece, and International Violence | Evaggelos Vallianatos
Help Greece build a solar future.
Canada should mount a major effort and organised advanced economies a la Lester Pearson to channel surplus funds to assist Southern Europe get rid of its dependence on fossil fuels. Alberta should close down its oil industry and begin invest in environment friendly energy technologies where there is a long term economic future. Justin Trudeau would seem to be the only Canadian capable of such forward thinking leadership, like his father.
Building island sea barriers using its surplus sulphur and limestone from Canada would be a great start to helping countries that will otherwise be flooded. Why do these enormous poisonous mounds of yellow chemical sit unused when they could be of so much value fighting the effects of climate change?
Does government have to do everything? Where is the forward looking Canadian private sector that Harperism has created, ha ha ha ha!?

Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Paul Watson resigns from Toronto Star - Toronto - CBC News
Unbelievable? Are we already a dictatorship? Where is this leading Canada? Obviously, we desperately need new honest leadership. Let the corruption stop forthwith. What negative advertising will begin for this whistleblower?

This is incredible. Is the Harper government muzzling the Toronto Star?

Pulitzer-winning journalist Paul Watson quits Toronto Star over ‘refusal to publish’ story on Franklin expedition | National Post
One suspects that the Toronto Star is not an honest newspaper anymore. It stands increasingly naked in its biased writing without the likes of a Pierre Berton. Is democracy in Canada dead? Shows existing budget of reporting critical of the government's heavy handedness needs to be increased. Is Ontario's failure to attract manufacturing etc. due to bad governance in Ottawa arising from cutbacks over the last decade. Its obvious there is a lack of leadership qualities in Steven Harper and to compare him to the other party leaders shows the enormous deficit in the Conservative platforms and leadership. All the negative conservative advertising on Youtube is really getting to me.

Sketches from scratches is a provocative blogspot that has grown out of the Wuh Lax experience. It is eclectic, which means that it might consider just about anything from the simple to the extremely difficult. A scratch can be something that is troubling me or a short line on paper. From a scratch comes a verbal sketch or image sketch of the issue or subject. Other sites have other stuff that should really be of interest to the broad reader. I try to develop themes, but variety often comes before depth.
