James Mock author to the following CantonRep link and its comments is a narrow bit of an idiot when it comes to economics and Keynes! Neither Adam Smith nor Keynes are appropriate to the modern day economy as they were in past history. In their time, the concept of central bank and its operation was of a very different institution. That era stuff is not relevant today, though an understanding of economic history is?

The promotion of specialisation in the case of Smith to promote the market size and allow efficiencies was based on market signals that actually worked. Today they really don't work! Markets now operate with economies of scale that were unheard of in Smith's time. The idea of an Apple Inc within oligopolistic competition was not relevant as it is today. To say that Smith is relevant is not to have read economics but political commentary of idiot thinking. It's stinking thinking of the worst circular format and pretty stupid in my view.

As for Obama's economics within a Keynesian framework, we have again a hangover from the past. Obama is no more a Keynesian than Ronald Reagon was! Keynesian thinking revolved around effective demand. The idea that this can be achieved in the modern economy is repugnant. It can only come by turning the clock back at least one century. So why even talk about in in a world dominated by economies of scale and international location of large scale investment capital. James thinking is an outmoded time capsule and has no relevance in the modern economic reality.

What one sees is a sound policy of temporarily subsidising risk taking on the understanding that next time the subsidy won't be there.

George Bush had little idea that his policies were pushing America into bankruptcy. Nor do the narrow thinkers of the Western State Republicans, the subsidised industries. Conservatives preach one thing, which is smaller government, but they are first in line for tax reduction handouts and government grants and subsidies.

A modern day economy requires a large government sector capable of congruous improvement. Put that ethic into government and you have a winner. Put in the failed and outdated economic rhetoric of the Republican party and you have a recipe for another economic debacle. Ross Perot got America to wisen up to the need for government to continuously improve its services while eliminating the deficit. We are now regaling from subsidies going to inefficientvAmerican construction, mortgage, agricultural, banking, energy and transport industries.

Yes, by all means get rid of the subsidies, but please impose the ethic of continuous improvement and recognition of the negativevbig swing dynamics of an economy built on economies of scale from big industrial giants gobbling up smaller ones! Don't flood the economy with any more money as that will lead to inefficiency and a monster takeover cycle killing what population of small firms that do survive.

Why do the Business Insider writers always question Krugman? They do it at their peril and because their economics is possibly the lesser convincing. Attack the opposition and you don't need to develop a solid platform of logic!

The Business Insider and Krugman need a re-think!

For one, Keynesian spending works very well on the assumption that spending raises the average disposable income. For this to happen, the extra spending by government needs to go the labour intensive production or services. The problem with much American spending is that it is concentrated because of substitution in manufacturing and services away from labour intensity. This means that what happened in the thirties could not happen today because the average disposable income rise would be diminished by capital intensity of labour in services and manufacturing? Good thing too!

The iPhone is substitutive in a way that the iPad is not. Krugman is less accurate if he considers the role of the iPad in innovation. Schumpeterians will in any event be pleased to acknowledge the joint role of raising per capita disposable income and of innovation in growth dynamics. They both are a necessary base for solid growth.

Right now American firms are accumulating profits as savings for another ratcheting up of capital intensity. This is great for America, but not necessarily for average per capita disposable income. The best thing that American workers can do is the get retrained and prepared for a higher level of technology specification all across American industry and services. Pity the uneducated, but get them retrained. Upgrade their input into the American economy.

Underlying everything is education because it speeds per capita income rise and innovation.

Yes, raise the taxes on the wealthy and use the money to reduce education costs so that per capita disposable incomes can rise in a capital intensive world of services. Raising education levels for the average employee raises the rate of innovation, while innovation is raised by improving basic research and the environment of invention.

My point to Derek was that chemotherapy and radiation treatment weakens the immune system. Lesley had treatment from John Hopkins. She lived in a community where women of her age were dying like flies. I think it was due to telecommunication masts. They are everywhere. Near work, above libraries, and sports fields.

You will see the miniature antennas killing people all across Canada unless you care!

Health Canada bases guidelines on six minute exposures. 90 minutes is a typical afternoon outing for kids on a sports field. Do that for a whole season near a cell tower that's breaking the moral law if not some code! Locals are supposed to monitor these industrial sites, but that rarely happens.

In Crystal Beach there is the mother of all cell phone towers right smack above the library and opposite the kiddie's football ground. Twenty years from now, people won't remember the 90 minutes every weekend during football or soccer season at the football field beside the mother of all dangerous cell towers. How many sick adults and children will result? What are the health costs? And, who is paying for treatment of the exponential growth in strange lag diseases.

My hands felt itchy for five days after photographing the 135 antennas on one tower. The human engineering and financing monsters who put that tower above the library did so within the law?

Cancers from cell phones like weak immune systems and it's possible with Lesley that the Blood Brain Barrier was breached as well.

If you or Derek think that I am reckless by having a cell phone, thanks. I will use my other camera in future.

However, please do the same!

Lesley Skeith, my former spouse, worked for Qwest Communications as a software developer and contracted breast cancer. She survived that for eight years, but died from a cancer tumour in her brain.

I think that there is a link between cancer reappearance and cell phones. In the case of Lesley, there was little hope after the appearance of a brain tumour near her ear! She died three months later. I had watched her undergoing radiation treatments and chemo.

Devra Davis believes there is a link between the failure for a cure of cancer and the broad spectrum effect of 'safe' radiation.

Obviously, the reporters are new to the subject matter. Obviously, they are not yet readers of the science or they would have more passion. My learning as my readers know is only two months old and yes it has forced me to be more conscious of the lies about safety that abound in the industry. Conventional wisdom is dangerous when it comes to cell phones!

If you read the article you will note that I carry a cell phone on my hip! I guess the photographer reporter did not like my hypocrisy. However, unlike others in the group, I am not yet a sensitive. I do, however, keep the phone in airplane mode while in public. But, I cannot understand the definite implied slur. I knew from body signals the photographer did not like me. It's irritating to report on something you are really very ignorant about and deal with people who are hurting inside because they know people will die needlessly from illnesses that are preventable through education the reporter and photographer are missing.

The point I made to the photographer was that the cell phone is my camera and most readers will recognise the iPhone has a very good little camera in a robust package.

The other point is that my iPhone is in airplane mode which I saw the reporter write in his little notebook, but no mention of this safety feature in the your article. Such a slur on me, eh!

It is also British configured and contracted which means that it is largely unusable in Canada except as a storage device for images.

In the UK, I feel much safer about cell towers than in Canada? Why? Because people are aware of the deaths and Rupert Murdoch's spying with cell phones gave the dangers some needed publicity. Still there is much ignorance, especially in Canada abounds!

Well, few of us have a safe place on our person to carry a cell phone! And, that speaks miles.

Lately, I have been experiencing pain and discomfort about where my phone sits on my hip. Why is that? Is it psycho systematic or do cell phones on one's hip do damage to one's health. I can't ask Steve Jobs because he died of pancreatic cancer just about where one would/could have an Apple laptop resting.

At what point does one become complicit in murder, when it is of the unborn and the living? Suppose that you know that a device is capable of killing individuals and you do nothing, is that murder?

Psychological studies have shown normal people inflicting pain in a controlled experimental environment. History has shown people committing murder under command. In reality what gets people to those places where pain and murder are inflicted on innocent people? What gets bystanders to act to save another from pain or from death? Numbers, just numbers of observers!

For anyone who cares to read, such as Health Canada scientists the evidence is there. It may not be made in Canada, heaven forbid, but it's in the world public domain if eyes with brains were to be focused on it. Eyes cost money and money in public services such as health research is what political parties like to control and reduce. Are they committing a crime if the lack of Canadian research kills people, Canadians and visitors toCanada who would otherwise live? We're the American diplomats in Moscow in the 1950's murdered by Russians using radar, or was it just an accident that needed to be kept quiet. Certainly, a statement that Americans were being murdered would have sparked an international incident, but it was hushed.

When you question Health Canada about why the research has not been done, you get the typical bystander response that there are many studies. Why do another? It's cheaper to piggy back of effort by others. Or, is it that Canada has lost it's soul in some significant way. I believe so. Gone are the Lester Pearson days, the days of Pierre Trudeau. Replacing them are the days of wine and corruption and the days of military resurgence and the defensive arrogance of Stephen Harper's government. Gone is the Canadian soul, the pride of peace and self denial for the benefit of others.

Twenty years ago, put in a cell tower and you get compliments. Ten years ago, put in a cell tower and you get frowns. Five years ago, put in a cell tower and get mild complaints. Today, put in cell towers and you knowingly commit a crime. What has changed and why are Health Canada provisions for RF pollution a crime against Canadians.

It's because people are getting sick and dying from cell towers and mobile phones.

Bell Mobility Operating like Thieves in the Night

Does something smell of corruption!

You'll never find this story in a Canadian media publication, because it's about how one of Canada's dominant firms lies, bullies and steals to get its own way in a small community in Ontario. Like an episode out of a second world war movie, the citizens of Grand Bend are deceived into relinquishing their rights and property to a company that operates like a bull in a china shop.

If lying and cheating are not enough, the company carries out its foul activities above the law where no Canadian can say no. Judges and lawyers cringe at the thought of taking on Bell a company that works like an arm of the Gestapo revived and alive in South Western Ontario. Nothing is sacred to this army that operates in the dead of night to seize what belongs to others and claim it as its own using its paid thugs and bully boys.

People in this tiny community are scared shitless by the Bell thugs. These Bell boys know their stuff. They are an organised army of engineers determined to carry out Bell Mobility wishes whether it breaks the law or not. To them there is no law. They are granted permits to do anything like water flowing down a river. Freedom belongs to those who have the money and can operate as though the law does not exist.

Highly organized like the Nazi SS they have secret operations to seize control of the key spots and turn such places into industrial sites for Bell Mobility. The average community has no choice but to give into these bullies and thugs. They have teams of people separated from each other so that one teams does not know what the other is doing, but the total operation creates a structure that Bell closes off to the public so that it can do its antisocial activities like the internet selling of porn, gambling services, legalised prostitution, violent entertainment and Bell Media services to corrupt and capture the money of addicts and poor people while persuading them all is well.

You might be forgiven for believing that Bell Mobility is the devil personified and alive in rural Canada. It represents the ugly side of society. The mean spirited wicked and evil side of the community. Bell is bad, awfully bad and the sooner the community can rid itself of this despicable organisation the better.

What is it that these media giants like that operated by moguls such as Rupert Murdoch can seize control of a community a turn it into a wasteland. It's cronyism where government and firms work together to fleece the community of its savings and protected areas. Bell operates secretly like a criminal organisation dressed up to deceive the community while providing back handlers and influence to people willing to do its politics. People are afraid of Bell Mobility and what it can do. Those addicted to its media services will bully others to have their hourly fix. Bell's public is a frenzy of salivating people hanging on to their providers supply of corrupting services, like children who must have their fill of entertainment and mindless violence.

Parents are helpless against the likes of Bell Media. It is evil!

It's about loss of control at the local level and replacing it with a sick organisation that know no bounds to its infamy!

Only politics can resolve this criminal Bell activity that is condoned by 'satisfied' community leaders and the objective of nationalising Bell's assets does not seem too amiss. Yet, to undertake such a mission defies reason in a world where money garnished by Bell bullies buys influence in churches and social groups like their next meal. Who in your community is receiving back handers, or under the table deals? You won't find their names on google because they come across as wholesome uncorrupted citizens. Their secrets are well hidden!

But, you can look for the signs of corruption and tell others!

I have graduated from writing letters to the editor to writing a book. ( it is not a real big book).  It is titled 'Bricks and Mortar' and is the story of building the Grand Bend Area Community Health Centre from my perspective as chair of the facilities committee.

I am donating the book and all proceeds to the CHC for the electronic medical records implementation so it is a bit of a fundraiser as well.

There will be a 'book launch' event at the Community Health Centre community room on Thursday evening September 27th between 7 and 9 P.M. where books will be available and many of the people involved in creating the facility will be there.

So bring your wallet as it will cost you $15.00 per copy.  It is a limited edition printing so once they are all sold thats it.  Dont worry I am printing 300 so it may take awhile.
