The Abuse of Power that is Industry Canada, a Manual for Dictatorship Within a Canadian Democracy?
BACKGROUND
It's interesting to speculate how Industry Canada acquired dictatorial powers in certain key areas, but that they are wrongly assigned, disfunctional and biased in what is supposed to be the Canadian confederal democracy is quite clear.
My experience stems from a little red garden-variety receiving mast intended by its users and Mr. Stubbs of Thedford, who organized it, to provide a means of receiving TV in Southcott Pines Park in Grand Bend without cutting down a lot of trees. In an area, in the 1970's, that did not have fibre optic cable to bring in TV signals this made a lot of sense. That it still continues despite the availability of vastly superior fibre optic does not make much economic nor technical sense, but it is vastly superior to what is being proposed and obscenely flagged as progress.
The purpose behind the design of a very tiny mast easy to maintain was to minimize the destructive footprint of development within a forest that would lead to a loss of safe use and destruction of natural forest cover for children to explore and play in and for animals and natural life to continue to flourish. The possibility of rare and endangered species in the wetlands and playgound was not even considered.
The need to keep the area free of human footprints was, however, not considered in sufficient depth. The people in their ignorance put in buildings and a tiny mast in the wrong places. An environmentalist would want to have them removed to protect the rare skink.
Few thought about the future with an industry wanting to put in it's factory entering the picture as an opportunist organization industrializing Canada. These Grand Bend people need us! We are "The men!"
So! Along comes Bell with Industry Canada saying they have the right to put in an industrial size mast with a footprint about 500 times the size of the small red pole. What's more they don't need to ask the neighbours for permission. Nor do they even have to discuss the matter with people living next to this new industry. The idea of environmental stress is not a notion these industrialists consider seriously.
What had been a garden feature to save the forest and forest life has become the tiny but powerful wedge 'like a wolves claw' to exploit a power given by Industry Canada to industrialize in a residential area, all without consultation. The dictator, Industry Canada, is a fully empowered judge and jury! Decision made! Screw the residents?
Industry Canada means exactly that to industrialize. It seems not to matter where, but if you have a garden TV antenna, you may wake up some day to find trillions of gigabytes of industrial information flowing through your back garden.
THE POLITICS OF DICTATORIAL POWERS EXERCISED WITHOUT RESTRAINT
At one extreme one could say there is a close analogy between the powers that Industry Canada is abusing and those given to the creators of extermination camps during the 1930's and 1940's in Germany. There also no watchdog existed to ensure that disfunctional industrialization, the creation of concentration camps and the industry of killing people could not happen. Instead, powers had been assigned to a small group of national leaders, who felt they had been given absolute powers in certain areas, unquestioned powers to establish extermination camps without consulting local people. Thus, the geography of Germany was populated with these nasty camps and no one said boo.
So why is what Industry Canada doing that is in my opinion so bad? Are they creating extermination camps? Is it their intention to kill people, either accidently or on purpose? Or, are they just following a mandate to industrialize willy nilly without observing normal rules of social restraint?
What happened in Germany that is so similar? That is why I am so concerned?
A division of the government was set up to develop, create and spread across the German and Polish landscape a series of extermination camps connected to a means of of transporting people. In Canada a division of the government was set up to develop, create and spread, across the Canadian landscape a series of industrial masts connected to a means of transporting wirelessly vast quantities of information. The process in both countries was similar except that the issue of intentional harm has not been addressed. In Germany, the industry and its agents considered the activities they were engaged in a banal form of industrialization process. Elimination of certain sectors of the population was considered benign activity. They were doing nothing wrong and no one needed to be considered because it was an industrial activity for the good of the economy. It was part of the master plan of industrialization by Germany. The notion of harmlessness of this industry was spread far and wide. People were simply being procesed through an industry that was good for the state. In the case of creating a wireless system of information flows in Canada, there is a strangeness about the industrial process. Again people who are in the way of this process really don't count. Their negative influence in the master plan of industrialization has to be neutralized and overwelmed by government efforts to educate them that opposition ismsomehow wrong headed and really they are doing something that is hindering industrial progress. Proponents of Industry Canada point out that spreading masts across Canada is a benign industry. Please, don't hinder this helpful and necessary industrailization of Canada.
How can it be that Industry Canada has these powers that are normally only given in dictatorships? Has Canada silently become a dictatorship under Stephen Harper's governance? That is not the question I am really asking.
I am asking why the Federal Government has not released war powers back to the provinces. Why is the Federal Government still holding dictatorial powers that defy common sense in a modern so called well informed democracy. Being well informed assumes that the truth is out there to be read. You need to dig deeper into the processes by which dictatorships control information. You will then see the parallels between these forms of industrialization without regard for the lives and health of people, those that survived at least. Am I being synical. No! You really need to do the research.
WILL PEOPLE DIE FROM INDUSTRIALIZATION OF OUR AIRWAVES
Yes! I project that people will die just as they died in extermination camps in Germany. The processes of death will be slower and much more painful, but I project that people will die prematurely.
It is up to you to research why I have this view. It is not funny. It's a disaster. You can begin your process of discovery by reading the book, "Disconnect" by Devra Davis. the book claims to tell you "the truth about cell phone radiation, what industry has done to hide it and how to protect your family".
In my view, protecting your family may be much more difficult than you presently assume.
