The point is that Russia works now as a nation bully. People are afraid to be outside the chosen leadership groups in the Russian military. The memory of Siberia is always there. Jump when Simon says jump. Do what Simon sats. In this sense Russia is behaving like a Fascist state, the very thing that they criticise the Ukraine for. It takes a nonsense to bully. Like a cat with a mouse, Russia plays with its neighbours.
It forgets that the sleeping lion can be awakened and third time lucky... A very dangerous game indeed for the Russians to play in a modern age for which they are copying known methods of the past.
Peace is best and Russia should abandon its colonising attempts before others more dangerous and vastly more reckless decide that's the game in town.

I beg your pardon. Gluten free probably does mean its without the worst food source known to man, wheat!
I get satisfaction from knowing that from the BC health inspectors of 150 years ago. Nothing has changed, but the money has to made so people get sick.
Wheat has been so adulterated as to be very dangerous to your health.
In my case, it would probably kill me if I had wheat again. It can take years off your life.
Gluten free offerings are just that trials to see what we can survive on. Obviously, you can kill yourself with non wheat products, so the title of the Globe and Mail article is quite moronic.

The urgent need for broader religious and scientific instruction in schools
The solution has to be within the constitutional rights, privileges and responsibilities of each nation. The principle to establish worldwide is that no religion or nation or individual is above the law, and that understanding of all religions by everyone must be given equal weight for access by anyone who wishes to be educated about alternative beliefs. I do think the British have a reasonable handle on the situation but they are overwhelmed with the inclusion of more and more people within the European Union that migrate to the UK without 'any' inclusive religious training worth speaking about. Being indoctrinated by half wits does not cut it internationally.
Countries / communities need to introduce broad educational parameters of philosophical instruction for all citizens that includes all religions, engineering and scientific methods in the curriculum and to progress one needs to pass an inclusive world religions course that includes all the philosophical alternatives including science. Kids should have access to all the theories of the afterlife within a framework that is non threatening. Failure to pass the course should mean a loss of citizen privileges and enrolment in a very broad religious studies program that is inclusive of religion and scientific method, and science. We call it philosophy, but I think it is prerequisite to citizenship. In Iran it is indoctrination of a single religion.
Earthlings need to understand that religion is a privilege and not a right. Philosophies that promote violence should be regarded as a threat to the world community, whether promoted by a state such as Russia, USA, or China, or by a religion such as Islam, Jewism or Christianity.
