What makes these attempts to hear voices from the dead interesting is that they are often done publicly.
Are you an idiot if you do such research? Not at all. The world is really not what most of us think it to be. Hence the millions of religions based on believing things that don't really exist, or do they?
For one thing, time does not really exist as a barrier to entry any more! If someone dies and is resurrected it may be extraordinarily unlikely, but with today's understanding of physical phenomenon, it is not impossible. That we have such capability now is not known, but that a distant cosmos could have such a capability is very well known... Yes!
Similarly, is it impossible for the earth to have been visited from our nearest constellations. Not at all! Entities could catch a ride on a beam of light which would eventually breach the earth's protective shield.
I think that we are so ignorant of the role of light in everything that we miss half the fun in the cosmos!
Don't miss the fun of using your imagination. You may be forgiven for never imagining what is possible even with our understanding of today's capacities.
