'Looper', the movie about time travel presents a dark picture of the future, perhaps though not as dark as it could be. The story has nothing to do with Hofstadter's "I am a Strange Loop" which explains our continuous loop that creates consciousness! The movie 'Looper' includes Bruce Willis, but it is not one of his better films, probably one of the worst I have seen. Entertaining, yes, but extraordinarily convoluted in its assumptions needed to make the plot and the looping logical. I was continuously faced with logical inconsistencies, not because I didn't understand looping, but because my prior vision of the future was almost entirely different.
