This sounds pretty harsh. There is merit to the idea that a re-gearing of the Chinese economy is needed. Will they be as ingenious as the Japanese in moving from toys to other goods as America and other importing dynamos become more demanding in their tastes? The American economy is adjusting the hard and painful way.
